The bourbon begins with a traditional mash bill, primarily consisting of corn along with a blend of rye and malted barley. It is then aged for a minimum of 10 years in new, charred American oak barrels. This extended maturation period allows the whiskey to develop its rich amber color, as well as intricate layers of flavor and aroma.
